40th Infantry Division Band

Published on Apr 14, 2012 In July of 2010, Eric Seiler and his fellow Soldiers of the 59th Army Band-"The Governor's Own" put on a USO style concert in the beautiful Lincoln Theater at the Veterans Home of Yountville, CA. The audience consisted of enthusiastic veterans and their families. At the request of the band's Acting Commander, First Sergeant Kenn Cassius, Melanie Seiler joined her husband on stage and sang for one of the several numbers that he conducted, Gershwin's "They Can't Take That Away From Me." (Eric also got behind the microphone and sang a few pieces, too.) Their performance together is shown here.
